Linn Lindström

About the workshop with Jenny Schinkler & Irma von Platen

We begin with an improvisation-based warm-up, with elements of floorwork, where we go through the whole body. Then we work with repertoire from the performance "Nattskift". In the final part of the workshop, we share the working methods we used when creating the material for "Nattskift".

About the workshop with Linn Lindström:

The workshop focuses on creation and composition. We begin with an improvisation-based warm-up and then move on to working out a number of methods to create choreography where images, text and architecture are our starting points. A time for playfulness and exploration.

About COMPASS

COMPASS aims to build and develop an infrastructure for networking and knowledge exchange for young dance artists. COMPASS changes, develops and improves the ecosystem for contemporary dance that currently exists in Sweden. This happens through collaboration and networking with municipal, regional and national art and culture institutions and organisations. COMPASS inspires and encourages young people to take more initiative, by being able to influence and create their own projects in their hometown, municipality or region.

The project is supported by Kulturrådet and Svenska Postkodstiftelsen.
